Bonfire Lighting at Seeach Sod Vocational Program
On Sunday, the 37th day of the Omer, Seeach Sod held a festive bonfire on the roof of the Yirmiyahu building. The bonfire was lit by Seeach Sod CEO Rav Shimon Levy. The lighting was followed by festive dancing, accompanied by singers Aharale Samet and Avreimi Moskowitz and musician Yanki Engel.
Tu B’Shvat at Seeach Sod: Always Growing
Participants in the women’s vocational program enjoyed a Tu B’Shvat celebration, complete with a wide variety of fruits. Emphasis was placed on recitation of the blessings and answering amen.
Special Chanukah Activities
At Seeach Sod, you never have to guess the date – you can sense it through the activities! This is certainly true on Chanukah, when the abundance of holiday-related activities combined for a truly exciting week.

Kislev Activities at the Women’s Day Center
Under the guidance of Reut and Yafit, the counselors of the Bareket group, the women worked on a beautiful art project in honor of the upcoming holiday of Chanuka.
Kislev – Giving From the Heart
Girls in our Maoz Yerushalayim school are dedicating the new month of Kislev to the theme of “kis” (pocket) and “lev” (heart) – giving with one’s whole heart. The project opened with a special party in honor of Rosh Chodesh and a demonstration of the difference between giving with a sour face and giving with a smile. The program included a contest between the classes, and the students also worked on a fun art project.
Activities for 7 Chesvan – When We Begin to Pray for Rain
Winter is in the air in the nursery classes, where students are learning about the fall, the leaves falling from the trees, and the longed-for rain!
Happiness Spilling onto the Streets at Seeach Sod's Annual Simchat Beit Hashoeva
The residents of Jerusalem, and many outside it, are already accustomed to the wonderful annual event - the Simchat Beit Hashoeva conducted every year by Seeach Sod.
Four Species Market
As part of the year-round activiites of the Seeach Sod's Supported Community Housing Program around the Jewish calendar year, all 250 residents were invited to a unique four species market, before Sukkos.
Works of art in honor of Sukkot
As preparation for Sukkos, all students in various Seeach Sod programs, worked on beautiful works of art for their families' sukkot.

The students of Seeach Sod celebrated the new month of Adar with the annual fair for students, family, and staff.
