Eshkol Preschool Program
About Us
Our preschool program provides each child with the opportunity to make the most of this crucial stage in their development. The support provided at this early juncture allows for growth and has a recognizable effect on the development of the child’s personality, ability, and learning skills. We belief that providing these children with a range of experiences and treatments provides them with enjoyment, independence, and satisfaction, as well as the ability to integrate optimally into their family and community environments.
Target Population
Children aged 3-7 with developmental delays/intellectual disability/communication delays
Professional Staff
Our staff includes a physical therapist, occupational therapist, speech therapist, child psychologist, dietician, art and music therapist, and a developmental physician.
Approach
Each class uses educational and behavioral approaches that are appropriate for the needs of its students, including ABA and DIR.
Therapeutic Goals
Development and improvement of verbal speech, understanding of basic concepts, development of visual and auditory learning, preparation for future studies (math, reading, writing, and in some classes, basic reading)
Professional Evaluations
Seeach Sod’s professional staff have experience with all types of disabilities and will arrange for the most precise and helpful evaluations.
Developmental Tracking
Once every quarter, all of the staff evaluates the progress of each child in the Eshkol Preschool.
Hours of Operation
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Vacations parallel those of the Ministry of Education.
