Over 7,000 high-school aged young adults participated in the March of the Living this year.
A select group of high-schoolers from Panama who visited Poland and the camps, and saw the results of the evil of one man, were then brought to Israel and to Seeach Sod by their educational leader, Belinda Levy who was so inspired on a previous trip that she wanted the girls to experience the goodness of Seeach Sod, which was created on the vision and goodness of another man.
The group sang their way up to Jerusalem and to Seeach Sod accompanied by Menachem and Boaz from Chabad.
The founder’s son and CEO of Seeach Sod, Rabbi Shimon Levy spoke about the progress and growth of Seeach Sod since his father founded it 45 years ago for another son Avraham, a special needs child. He also praised the Jewish communities outside of Israel for their ongoing support of Seeach Sod.
After pizza, the group divided in to two groups with the boys doing an activity with Seeach Sod members in the Kollel, and the girls in the Ma’as B’not doing an art project of the Kotel. The group then danced and sang in the spirit of Lag B’Omer.
