The volunteers were professional working business men who soon became friends with our students. The students had an absolute blast while being driven through forest landscape and camp grounds with their new companions…these incredible volunteers from the greater Jerusalem area. It was an adventure where the volunteer drivers and the Seeach Sod passengers really bonded and enjoyed each other's company.
To keep the connection, Seeach Sod decided to invite these Barel volunteers, who are all professionals in their own right, to come see Seeach Sod first hand. On July 12th the men, headed by their captain Mr. Yair Maimon, came to tour our Zaritsky campus as well as our Yirmiyahu campus. They met the younger students and were truly touched by what they saw and the personal stories they heard. After their full tour they enjoyed a catered lunch with the CEO, Rabbi Levy, along with some staff members. The volunteers shared their experiences during the tour and pledged to give as many jeeping trips as possible to all of Seeach Sod's students!
