The Rebbe arrived with a small entourage and he spent an hour at Kollel Chazon Dov, speaking to students and dispensing heartwarming blessings. His visit left a lasting impression.

The visit began with Mincha, after which the Rebbe spoke to the students about faith and encouraged them in their studies. He spoke to the students in a manner that they could understand, all the while sitting on a simple chair next to a simple table in the Kollel – a fact that contributed to the sense that the Rebbe feels close to the students.

After he spoke, the students approached the Rebbe for brachot, which he happily dispensed. A particularly moving moment was when the Rebbe performed nichum aveilim for one of the students, who was in mourning following the passing of his mother.
