Women from our supported vocational program were treated to a day of fun at the Superland amusement park. The women, who work hard throughout the year, had a chance to enjoy the fruits of their labor! After lunch, they returned home with smiles on their faces.
Twelfth Grade Trip to Natzeret Illit
Twelfth grade girls in our Ashira school went on a trip to the chocolate factory in Natzeret Illit. The girls enjoyed their trip to the far-off north, including the fun activities on the bus ride. They returned tired but happy.
Special Trip for the Participants in the Bnei Brak Supported Vocational Program
In response to their dedication and great efforts to integrate into the community and participate in the workforce, the participants in our Bnei Brak supported vocational program were treated to an outing at a bowling and entertainment center.
A Special Request – A Trip to Kever Rachel
In the Mishol HaOzrad residence, as in all of the residences in our system, staff conduct a personal interview before developing each woman’s goal-plan. The residents express their wishes and aspirations, thereby becoming active partners in establishing their overall plan. In the context of her interview, Chana, a sixty-year-old resident, expressed her wish to travel to Kever Rachel. Chana’s birthday was this week, and in honor of the big day, Rachel Zeidel, the director of the residence, travelled with her to Kever Rachel.
Bnei Brak Vocational Program Tours Coca-Cola Factory
The participants in our Bnei Brak vocational program took a day off to have a fun excursion on a guided tour of the Coca-Cola factory in the city.
Women’s Vocational Program Visits Kever Rachel
To commemorate the yahrtzeit of Rachel Imenu, which falls in Cheshvan, the women in our vocational program visited Kever Rachel.
Vocational Program Travels to Venice
Seeach Sod’s vocational program is one of our central projects. Our goal is to enable the adults in the program to achieve their potential by removing obstacles preventing them from finding work and by encouraging them to live independently, contribute to the community, earn a salary, and experience a feeling of self-confidence and satisfaction.
Summer vacation is under way at Seeach Sod
Male residents of Seeach Sod’s residential housing program are kicking off their summer with a vacation in Mitzpeh Yericho, while our female students are enjoying an array of activities and events in Givat Washington.
"Work Hard- travel Far"- Eilat
Seeach Sod is always trying to implement new ideas. For the last two years the men in the Supported Employment program in Ma'as used the money that they had saved from their salaries to travel abroad. We coined this new program, "Work Hard-Travel Far". In 2015, the men traveled to Ukraine and in 2016 they traveled to Vienna and Hungary.
