From there, the girls travelled to strawberry picking. After they learned a bit about how the strawberries are grown, they had the chance to pick and eat the strawberries! They demonstrated tremendous self-control and greatly impressed the owners of the farm by restraining themselves until the strawberries were properly checked for bugs.

After returning to class, the girls prepared strawberry ice cream using the fruit they had picked, and they greatly enjoyed eating the fruits of their labor!
