During the week before school began, male staff and female staff participated in preparatory conferences in the Beit Yisrael Hall. Rav Yossi Deutch, candidate for mayor of Jerusalem, spoke at the women’s conference, focusing on the importance of Seeach Sod’s work on behalf of individuals with special needs. Mrs. Yael Zaltz spoke to the female staff about using time productively at work. Rav Segal spoke at the men’s conference on the topic of creativity in education.
Rav Shimon Levy presented an overview of various developments and the growth of the student body, wishing the staff a productive and successful year. Following the tradition of the past few years, a number of staff members were recognized for their excellent performance during the past school year, and each received a special certificate.
