Mrs. Goldman later ran an open discussion with the women, who raised issues they have encountered and provided support for one another. The occupational therapy staff ran a workshop for the mothers about encouraging independence, and the speech therapy staff made a presentation about proper communication between mother and daughter. The mothers were treated to a delicious breakfast as well.
