The students, who had no preconceived negative notions about lizards, attempted to befriend the creature, participating in a number of lizard-related activities with a tremendous amount of focus.
The staff of Beit Metzudot noted the importance of providing a wide range of different activities, as each child is affected by something else. For example, one of the children is particularly motivated by the activities with the animals – to his delight, as well as that of the staff.
