In the Zaritsky apartments, a residential quarter housing special needs children in Ramot Jerusalem, over a dozen young girls came together to celebrate the birthday of fellow student and friend, Chana. Chana, a French immigrant who joined the Seeach Sod community a year ago, celebrated her 16th birthday surrounded by the many people who love and support her. Friends and family gathered for the celebration, including her mother, sister and aunt as well as friends she’s made who live in the community’s residential apartments.
With good friends, refreshments and a presentation that Chana, together with dedicated staff members, prepared documenting her experiences and growth over the past year, the atmosphere was festive and joyful.
It’s inspiring to see how well Chana has integrated into the school and community in her short time here. We look forward to celebrating many more birthdays with Chana for years to come.
