Our severely disabled student body was given the opportunity to express themselves through the power of paint. These students suffer extensive impairments and often have little to no language skills, making the activity that much more meaningful.
We often see that our students with complex developmental disabilities feel trapped inside their bodies. By giving them the tools to express and experience life through art, we are able to nurture a hands on interaction with the world around them, as well as their sense of independence and positive individualism.
