For two full days and one night, Otzar Yerushalayim students enjoyed exploits from Nahal Alexander to Miron, from Safed to Zichron Yaacov, and scenic views in between. Students saw turtles in the Alexander River Reserve, jumped in jeep tours in Yesod HaMa’alah, relaxed in Ein Hashofet in Yokne’am near a cool cave and running water, participated in fitness activities, and of course heard stories of tzaddikim accompanied by the tapping and drumming of the students.
After a luxurious stay in the Tel Aviv Hotel in Safed, students continued their travels and paid tribute to the tombs of Rabbi Yehuda bar Elai, and Choni ha-Me’agel, the Zion of Rashbi in Meron where they made a fire that lit up the night.
Food was plentiful, the atmosphere was uplifting, mouths were full of praise, and students and counselors alike applauded the wonderful organization and commencement of such an amazing outing and experience.
