On Tuesday, the girls met in a private seminar hall where the theme of the program was “Save the Movement.” The girls were given a mock notice that the Movement was closing. They then had to construct a convincing letter to the city of Jerusalem why the Movement should not be closed. Their letter was most convincing!
The fun continued in Petach Tikva in “I Jump” which offered special trampoline platforms, jumping, jogging with background music, playing catch, jumping and running competitions, and rolling into a very soft sponge.
Lunch was held picnic style in Beilinson Park where the girls took part in experimental space games. The girls were by now really flying high!
After returning to Jerusalem the vacation staff welcomed them with open arms and smiling faces. After settling into their rooms, they were presented with a lavish wedding-style dinner.
Wednesday was waking before the sun and excitedly meeting in the lobby where the girls were in for a morning of pampering with fancy hairdos and a silly breakfast of Cariot and milk.
The morning festivities were planned by the teachers. There were competitive games, an experimental mosaic workshop guided by the art teacher, and the closing ceremony was an audiovisual show “Because Everyone is a part of the Puzzle!” The moral of the movie was that each girl is special and contributes in her own way, and together the pieces of the puzzle merge as a completed mosaic.
Returning to school with new friends and a fresh outlook, the girls were already looking forward to the next camp.
