The days theme was dedicated to learning about the attribute of relinquishing or "giving in" (Vatranus in hebrew).
They had a full day of special activities where they learned to "give in" (be mivater) to each other. The girls had to choose their absolutely favorite treats from a table filled with goodies and then give it to a friend. They also saw a special movie about Rachel Imeinau. In addition, Rachel Klein (an actress) came to perform an interesting skit on the story of Rachel, which taught the importance of when to be quiet and when to talk.
At the end of the day the girls traveled to Kever Rachel and because they have been learning about independence in the community, they walked to the bus themselves (with a teacher close by), paid the bus driver themselves, and acted independently at Kever Rachel where they davened!
