There was a beautiful exhibition displayed of everything the girls have learned this year leading up this momentous occasion. The girls had learned in detail all the halachos (Jewish laws) of the kitchen, including meat and milk laws and checking for bugs.
The gathering started with the audience watching a short movie of the students in action; how they prepare breakfast in a kitchen while being careful of all the halachas they learned. The movie showed the girls busy in the kitchen, making themselves a meal, while putting to practice everything they had learned in class.
Then the girls performed on stage some songs that they had learned this year, followed by another video that showed the students singing, dancing and acting out a play of Yitziyas Mitzrayim (Exodus of Egypt), Matan Torah (receiving the Torah) and an act showing how we are waiting for Mashiach (Messiah).
The celebration concluded with a Seudat Amen (an “Amen party”) which was conducted by the famous Rebetzen Meisels.
The gathering was sweet, loving and each girl shined! Not only were their mothers and teachers proud…but the girls were proud of themselves too!
