Misibat Chumash!

With the involvement of parents, grandparents, siblings and friends, Otzar Yerushalayim's 1st grade boys received their very first Chumash at their Misibat Chumash party.  The special day was coordinated by Rabbi Yechiel Esterzon and the students actively participated by singing and quoting Pasukim while dressed in royal uniform and decorated crowns.

The CEO of Seeach Sod, Rabbi Shimon Levy, opened this monumental occasion, followed by greeting from Rabbi Benjamin Lichtman. The students sat  in front of the magnificently decorated stage singing Pesukim from Bereishis as is customary in Israel for first graders. Rabbi Yaakov Weinberger invested a lot of effort in preparing these students for this event and the occasion was magnificent and emotional. Each student said his name and got his very own Chumash from Rabbi Levy together with each of their fathers.

Many long hours of preparation was invested in making the Chumash Party for the boys in Otzar Yerushalyim a special memory.
Thanks goes to: Principal Leah Lok, Chani Shteinberg, Michal Shteinhart, and Rebbe's: Yehuda Zilbershlag  Yaakov Weinberger, Yechiel Esterzon and Benjamin Lichtman.

Much thanks goes to Chaim Sofer for the all the music prep!

May these precious children use their Sefer Bereishis as a baseline for many more beautiful hours of learning in their futures!
