Our 6 Chabbad young men, ages 21 and up, who have various disabilities, ferbragened in their "Shamgar Street" home with their apartment coordinator. They enjoyed the singing, delicious food and Torah learning with lively music.
Seeach Sod is an agency that caters to over 900 individuals with special needs in Jerusalem. They run many schools and programming, one of which is a Resident Living. Seeach Sod firmly believes that we must cater to the individual needs of our residents in a manner that is familiar to them and the way they were brought up in their own homes; be it language, level of religiosity or customs. In addition, one of our main missions is "Shiluv Bakehila"- helping out residents integrate into the local community in all domains. This is but only one beautiful example of Seeach Sod bridging the gap between two worlds: the world of the special needs individual and the Jewish world at large.
