It was with the feeling of a new beginning that that the CEO of Seeach Sod, Rabbi Shimon Levy, visited every single class and benched every child and adult with a bracha for a good successful year. Rav Levy, in the first week of school, visited all five buildings to ensure the students felt personally welcomed as well as making sure to reach out to the staff members, therapists and personnel in wishing them a good year. Each class heard the sound of the Shofar, blown by a Rav, igniting the sound of newness into their souls and hearts.
The beauty of this new year in specific was that the summer months were spent reorganizing, re-dividing and refreshing the classrooms and departments. As part of the goal of Seeach Sod in making the students feel as much a part of the typical community as possible, renovations were made to help the students feel they were a part of a certain section of the building such as the Early Childhood Center, Elementary School, Middle School and High School. Although the framework has been set up in this domain for years, the physical layout of the building also reflects this crucial point as well making the students feel a part of their age appropriate section.
