There was a Tu B'Shvat Tish at the Otzar Yerushalayim yeshiva for boys. They were honored to have the Rebbe from Nachlos Ahron join the Tish as well as Rebbe Nachum Cohen. Together they enjoyed delicious fruits, and leibidik dancing with lively music. In addition, each student was tested on Hilchos Brachos and showed their understanding of how each fruit has a different Bracha.
On Tu B'Shvat, Maor Seminary came to Seeach Sod's Ramot Campus, which contains our Center for Early Child Development and our school Maoz Yerushalayim for students ages 7-21. The program began with an introduction presentation of what Seeach Sod is, who we are, what we do and why we are so unique. The students then had a full tour of the building which included seeing the classrooms, Gymboree's, the Horse Back riding trail, the pool and all our therapy and recreational rooms. The Maor girls were then split into different classes to help the students do age (and functioning-level) appropriate Tu B'Shvat art-projects. Two girls went around with a violin and guitar to play music for each class and another two girls delivered yummy snacks and drinks to each class. There was singing, dancing and the art projects came out stunning! The energy was electric and the bonding between the two institutes was remarkable.
At the Haor Women's apartment in Romema, students from Banos Elisheva Seminary came to have a Tu B'Shvat party with the residents. The women had a delicious and joyful experience together while eating fruit delicacies, dancing to music and crafting gorgeous Flower Center Pieces.
