The trip began in Alon Tavor, Tnuva's (cheese factory) visiting center. The boys toured around the huge factory which is capable of producing millions of dairy products each day. They then saw a film explaining the procedure from the milking of the cows, all away to the delivery of the products. The boys felt the highlight of the trip was this three-dimensional simulator film, where they sat in special chairs that moved! They then went into the factory and saw all the thousands of stainless steel pipes and giant milk tanks. The boys were amazed to watch the dozens of 'robots' who do most of the work in this mass production. They watched in awe as these machines transported huge amounts of merchandise with incredible accuracy to the trucks. After some delicious tasting and receiving a souvenir from Tnuva, the boys said good bye to their tour guide, and headed towards Afula park. There they ate a wonderful picnic lunch and had many exciting activities!
A huge thanks goes to directors Rabbi Tzvi Cohen and Rabbi Amram Glick for their wonderful organization of this trip.
It was a wonderfully successful trip and both workers and the staff thoroughly enjoyed themselves!
