The centers' young women greeted the guests joyfully. One girl spoke, thanking Seeach Sod's management and CEO Rabbi Shimon Levi for their warm service and professional vocational guidance. She shared her progress in all areas of life and her integration into the community even as part of Seeach Sod's residential program.
Rabbi Shimon Levi spoke too, thanking Chairman of the Shas movement, Rabbi Aryeh Deri, for his constant assistance and for always standing up for Seeach Sod's institutions. Rabbi Levi also expressed his gratitude to Rabbi Deri for carving out time to join the event despite his packed schedule pre-elections.
Rabbi Aryeh Deri then spoke emotionally about the zechut of helping out a place like Seeach Sod. He spoke of Maran Rav Ovadya Yosef, ztk"l, whose hilulah (anniversary of his passing) was that night, and added that he feels like Maran's son, and as such, it is both an honor and an obligation for him to continue Maran's legacy of embracing the disabled in general, and Seeach Sod's students in particular.
Rabbi Deri then thanked CEO of Seeach Sod, Rabbi Shimon Levi, and shared how amazed he always is at the breakthroughs that Rabbi Levi leads in all areas for the integration of individuals with disabilities into the community.
