In Shul After 20 Years

An emotional phone call received by the staff of Seeach Sod's respite program after yom tov highlighted the feelings of deep satisfaction they were all experiecing after a long yom tov serving as the caregivers of the King's children.

"It's been twenty years since I've been able to go to shul for Yom Kippur," the caller – a mother of one of the respite program participants – shared. "This year, I knew that my son was being well taken care of by a warm, professional staff and in an atmosphere appropriate for this great day. I spent eleven hours in shul, and was able to daven for everything!"

Savyon, Seeach Sod's respite program, offers services that reach their peak during the High Holidays. Hundreds of families are able to enjoy their yom tov happily and peacefully, secure in the knowledge that their children are celebrating in an appropriate atmosphere and receiving top care.

As part of Seeach Sod's groundbreaking individualized care development, the participants were divided into groups and received customized services under the guidance of the different programs specializing in Autism, developmental delays, and other types of disabilities on all levels.

Seeach Sod's work manuals, which follow ISO9001 standards, ensure the ongoing therapeutic process seamlessly assimilated between the different programs the members attend, and providing precise individualized care.

Yom tov davening took place in Seeach Sod's main building in Jerusalem, accompanied by Neranenah Choir and participated by many of the neighborhood community members. Shofar blowing was conducted for all Seeach Sod members too, as well as beautiful yom tov meals.

Now, preparations for Succos are underway. Hundreds of participants will receive personalized, precise services over the first yom tov, Shabbos and Simchas Torah, in addition to the exciting activities awaiting them over the days of chol hamo'ed.
