Before heading out to their vacation, each girl was responsible to independently complete all formal procedures: ask her employer for the days off, and arrange a substitute where necessary.
It was a two-day trip, but packed with activities. A train ride, boat ride, a patriotic program on the hotel lawn and a trip to Ikea, where each girl received 50 shekels in spending money, to which they were able to add of their own money if they wished.
At the hotel, the girls enjoyed spending time with the other vacationers and fully participated in the program, dining room and lobby socializing, and activities.
On Thursday, 21 Tammuz, the boys in Rabbi Estherson's shiur headed out to a unique Shabbos together in Seeach Sod's respite home in Tzfat.
Upon their arrival at the apartment, which normally serves Seeach Sod's students in the North, the boys were delighted at the warm welcome and the delicious and plentiful food that had been prepared for them.
Before Shabbos, the boys visited Meron, davening at the kever of Rabi Shimon Bar Yochai, after which they visited the kevarim in Tzfat.
It was a beautiful Shabbos, with davening in the Karlebach shul, the boys taking a central role in the singing and dancing. On Friday night, the students of the Sorotzkin yeshivah came to spend time with the boys.
The boys were also treated to a visit to the Rebbe of Lelov-Tzfat, and to Rav Kenig, rav of the Breslev community in Tzfat. They also met Tzfat councilman Nachman Gelbach.
On Shabbos Parshas Balak, the fifth graders of Yeshivah Otzar HaTorah enjoyed a Shabbaton together at Seeach Sod's respite home.
On Friday morning, the boys excitedly came to school with their suitcases, heading out to the respite home immediately after school.
Over Shabbos, the boys enjoyed davening in the shul, eating the seudos together, and taking walks together.
It was a wonderful Shabbos, both for the boys and their families.
The girls of Maoz Yerushalayim enjoyed an especially fun-filled summer camp, with an incredible atmosphere and the girls enjoying every minute.
Every camper received a beautiful gift package that included a branded T-shirt and water bottle with the camp logo, a wearable medal and a cupcake. It was a stunning sight, seeing all the high school girl dressed in the camp uniforms and medals, walking in anticipation toward the buses with huge, excited smiles on their faces.
The program began with a stop at the amusement park in Tel Aviv. As the day grew hotter, the girls enjoyed a bubble activity outdoors, which was then followed by more programs, movies, and other activities.
The girls slept and ate their meals at the respite home, which had prepared intensively for the camp.
The girls of Maoz Yerushalayim and Ashirah girls' schools enjoyed an exciting day at Action Park, with lots of exhilarating rides and sensory stimulation.
