About Seeach Sod:
Seeach Sod is the leading organization in Israel, providing educational, welfare, and health services to children and adults with intellectual disabilities and autism. Seeach Sod’s programs serve 1,400 children and adults in the religious communities of Jerusalem, Bnei Brak, and Beit Shemesh placing a particular emphasis on integration into the community. With close to 50 years of expertise in the field, Seeach Sod is proud to be certified by ISO 9001, International Standard for Quality Management Systems.
About the Sefer Torah Campaign:
Seeach Sod’s integration model has already been implemented in Seeach Sod’s Jerusalem campus, where students study together in chavrutot with community members. With our expansion in Beit Shemesh, Yeshivat Otzar HaTorah will become a magnet for young men with disabilities who wish to learn Torah, prepare for community life, and advance their employment options.
The new Sefer Torah will enable the yeshiva students to hold their own minyanim with kriat haTorah and to invite community members to join them. These exceptional young men have a right to their own Sefer Torah, which will allow them to live full Torah lives based on the foundation of the Jewish nation.
The Hachnasat Sefer Torah will take place iy”H on November 12, 2020 (25 Cheshvan 5781),
in honor of Eyal’s birthday.
