Throughout the year, they have the chance to put their learning into practice when the sleepover at the respite center during the week and over Shabbat. They very much enjoy the Shabbat experience together, as well as their newfound independence.
In the context of our “Added Value” program, the girls participate in an experiential learning program in the respite center every three weeks. The girls learn how to perform many household tasks independently. They have the opportunity to create a breakfast menu, prepare the meal, and set the table, as well as to try their hands had making the beds and folding the laundry.
