Siddur Celebrations
As part of the principle that our activities are age and community appropriate, there were siddur celebrations in the first grade classes at Maoz Yerushalayim and Otzar Yerushalayim.

The students in first grade at Talmud Torah Otzar Yerushalayim are in the midst of excited preparations for their siddur party. The students have learned to identify individual words in the siddur and use a special siddur that was prepared for them.
Preparing to Become a Bar Mitzvah
The students in 6th grade at Talmud Torah Otzar Yerushalayim are in the midst of preparations for the Bar Mitzvah celebration this year. The class theme and decoration is, of course, on the topic of “Bar Mitzvah.” Using worksheets, the students are learning the halachot relevant to becoming a Bar Mitzvah – zimun, minyan, tefillin, Kaddish, etc. They can’t wait for the big celebration of this important milestone.

End of the Year Party at the Dance Club
This year, the residents of the Ohr St. apartment participated in a dance club as part of the integration in the community program. At the end of the year, the women participated in a recital, joined by community volunteers and enjoyed by family members. In addition to the great excitement among the women, the recital gave them confidence and a feeling of accomplishment.
Chumash Party at Otzar Yerushalayim
The Otzar Yerushalayim Chumash party took place in Seeach Sod’s Eis Hall, with the participation of CEO Rav Shimon Levi, supervisors, educational staff, and students’ parents and family members. The students sang together and celebrated the beginning of their Chumash study with great enthusiasm. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house.

A Siyum and a New Beginning at Otzar Yerushalayim
Seventh grade students at Otzar Yerushalayim studied perek Eilu Metziot this year with their rebbi, Rav Menachem Mendel Doshinsky, and this week they participated in an oral exam and a moving siyum to celebrate their achievement. At the same time, fifth grade students are about to begin studying Mishnayot Sukka with Rav Yitzchak Cohen, who prepared miniature sukka models in order to convey the topic clearly.
Special Shabbat for Seeach Sod Beit Shemesh
Participants in Seeach Sod’s programs in Beit Shemesh travelled to Jerusalem, where they enjoyed an uplifting and event-filled Shabbat together. On Friday, students enjoyed activities run by David Hachkin, and on Shabbat itself they participated in singing, divrei Torah, and the spirit of comradery. A good time was had by all.
