At Maoz Yerushalayim, our high-school students are learning important work principles through practical experience. Every week, students have the opportunity to work in a regular work environment. They are evaluated for quality work, efficiency, observance of rules, and punctuality. Students who meet the criteria are given monetary awards.
At the end of the month, the students receive a pay stub. They can use their “income” in our very own store, Mega Bul. The store is divided into various departments, where students can find entertainment, work, and home products, as well as toiletries and stationary.
The girls use their money wisely, in the process learning about saving and the value of money.
