Birthday parties at Seeach Sod entail great excitement and tremendous joy – in particular at our vocational centers, where birthday celebrations have become massive productions.
At the vocational center in Bnei Brak, we fulfilled the dream of one of our students when we invited singers Simcha Friedman and Ruli Dickman to his party, in conjunction with the Kol Chai radio station. The students danced, sang, and played along with tremendous joy.
Our Beit Shemesh vocational center is relatively new, but the staff has already demonstrated their great devotion. The birthday celebration for two students was graced with the presence of two well-known singers, Ahrele Samet and Shimon Davidowitz, who led the students in a moving kumzitz. There was also a spectacular meal. The greatest surprise was that the day after the party, there was a marked improvement in the communication abilities of one of the birthday boys – to the great delight of the staff and his friends.
At our Choresh apartment, they have also tried their hand in the birthday business, arranging a surprise party and inviting women from other apartments to the festivities. Leah the clown provided entertainment, and the smiles on everyone’s faces proved that she succeeded in her goal. There were tasty treats, balloons, and an atmosphere of celebration, and the volunteers also prepared a special game for all of the participants.
The Aliyat HaNoar apartment has also joined the fun, arranging a special 33rd birthday party in one of the delicious eateries in the Rav Shefa mall. The participation of friends was heartwarming – but not surprising, given that when someone is always happy for others, others are always happy for her! There were hugs and kisses and great pictures with the counselors and friends, which will be amazing souvenirs of the beautiful party.
Look what a birthday party can do!
