New Seeach Sod Group Home Opened in the Tzfat Community
Thursday, Feb. 4, saw the opening of Seeach Sod’s first group home in Tzfat.
The new home is part of Seeach Sod’s country-wide program which provides warm homes to numerous residents with various disabilities. The residents will enjoy full participation in community life. As part of the integration program that Seeach Sod promotes, they will both give to and receive from the community. Every home is supervised by a designated coordinator and a team of counselors, who are all guided by a social worker to create an individualized advancement program for every resident. The full support provided by Seeach Sod’s programs also includes professional advancement, guided by a job coordinator who oversees the placement of each resident in an appropriate workplace and then guides them in expanding their career horizons.
