About Our Program
B’libeinu Binah is a specialized Talmud Torah and Yeshivah designed for boys navigating a dual diagnosis of autism and moderate-to-profound intellectual disabilities. The program delivers a warm Torah environment crafted to prime talmidim for an independent, fulfilling life. Anchored in the rhythm of the Jewish calendar, the daily schedule features davening, Bar Mitzvah preparation, tefillin practice, Parshas Hashavuah, and practical Halachah—all intentionally structured to foster a deep sense of belonging within the family and the wider community.
This academic framework seamlessly integrates limudei kodesh, general studies, and functional life skills, led by an esteemed faculty of dedicated rebbeim alongside a multidisciplinary clinical team. Intensive focus is placed on teaching personal autonomy, daily routines, and social-emotional proficiencies, empowering students with lifelong self-advocacy skills. For older students, a signature transition program, Preparing for Adulthood, provides interactive workshops and real-world training to establish stable work habits for the future.
The learning environments are highly modernized, accessible, and equipped with pioneering assistive technologies—ranging from personalized communication tablets and customized icon boards to cutting-edge eye-gaze computer systems. The campus also boasts a therapeutic hydrotherapy pool, sports fields, and Snoezelen spaces. This outstanding educational model, coupled with close parental collaboration and community integration initiatives, arms every student with the keys to a dignified, purposeful life.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do you teach children with complex communication needs to actively express themselves and learn?
We place an immense focus on Augmentative and Assistive Communication (AAC) technology. Our classrooms are fully equipped with personalized and group iPads, interactive visual schedules, tailored icon boards, and sophisticated eye-gaze computer tracking. This ensures that every student receives the exact tools required to unlock language, demonstrate comprehension, and express his personality.
How do you help older students transition into life after yeshivah?
For our older bachurim, we designed our flagship Preparing for Adulthood transition framework, which focuses intensely on 10 core domains of daily life. The program delivers practical workshops, functional home-management training, and structured workplace habits that empower them to integrate smoothly into the workforce and manage their leisure time successfully.
How do your students connect to the outside world?
Community connection is core to our mission. We arrange special integration activities within peer groups from the local community to provide our talmdim with authentic opportunities to interact in dynamic environments. This permanently strengthens their sense of belonging and community behavior.
