A special ceremony marking the distribution of one million shekels to various non-profits by the Igul Letova initiative took place at Beit Hanassi, joined by over two hundred non-profit organizations that are part of this remarkable initiative, which allows people to round up payments for their day-to-day purchases, with the difference going to various charitable organizations of their choice.
Seeach Sod, too, sent representatives to the event, who expressed the organization’s excitement at being part of this massive tapestry of giving.
A great deal of words were said at the event describing the power of small change and its huge influence on charitable work in the community, especially for individuals with special needs.
Inspiring addresses were delivered by the program’s president and his wife; the CEO of Igul Letova; founder of Igul Letova; and a retired judge, moving the audience with their shared vision and goals.
Seeach Sod has joined Igul Letova this past year and is calling upon anyone who wants to lend a heart and hand to its work to round up their purchases on behalf of – and in support of – the disabled community.
