As part of the learning in the context of this year’s theme of “Self-Advocacy,” each class in Maoz Yerushalayim is contributing to a special art exhibit. Through their presentations, the students express how they stand up for themselves. One amazing student presented a problem of how she often forgets things that she needs, and she was able to immediately come up with a solution – she will write notes in her planner to remind herself every week.
This week, there was an exciting day devoted to self-presentation. Each student went up on stage and presented herself by showing some of her belongings. The girls made their presentations in accordance with their abilities – some orally and some with the help of an Ipad.
